Bookkeeping

Miguel Hernandez is The Biker Bookkeeper.

I want you to take a second and ask yourself these 3 important questions you should know at the top of your head.

  1. How much profit did your business make last year?
  2. How much did you pay in taxes?
  3. What is your biggest expense that could be trimmed?

If you are not sure, that’s okay. I am here to help. This is why you need a bookkeeper. I am working on creating some easy to use templates that small business owners can use to help manage finances. Accounting can be hard, but it can also be simple. I like to get the owner in a mindset of reading the forms with little info at first and then adding more detail as we progress.

About Me

Hi, I’m Miguel.

Number Lover and Motorcycle Adventurer.  Hence the name Biker Bookkeeper.

Welcome! I bet you are here to learn more about handling your business numbers. Well, you have come to the right place.

As a son of a self-employed HVAC (Air Conditioning & Heating) father, I witnessed my dad work all day, while my mother worked on the numbers at home. She would jot down notes in her notebook that only she understood (even the Da Vinci Code was easier to decipher). Yet, as a kid, I figured that was the best method and only method to track the business funds. Now. Not so much.

My whole child hood brought me to this place today. A time in my live where I love to work with other business owners. A place to hear the stories of what brought them to be where they are now. My formal education at Cal State Fullerton developed the base my parents cemented and nurtured as I grew. This has honed down my experience and knowledge to be your contract CFO (that’s a fancy way of suggesting I will be your financial partner).

As a bookkeeper and tax preparer, my clients have ranged from individuals to businesses of all scales. I’ve helped clients get their books in order in a manner that  they grasp and master as well as ease of transfer come tax time.

Now, that you know a little about me and the benefits I can bring to your business. Don’t hesitate to contact me. After all, the sooner you act, the sooner we can get your numbers in order and the sooner we can get your business to a well managed plan to success.
